Lat year I had the privilege of photographing Rachel and Euan’s wedding at the Titanic Hotel. It was such a special day from start to finish. The whole event was so family-oriented and filled with utter joy.
Rachel and her sisters got ready in the family home they grew up in. The atmosphere all morning was just so relaxed and filled with love and happiness… and then the little ones arrived and my heart melted even more. Picture the scene, Rachel doing her own gorgeous make up, whilst her daddy is playing doctors with his granddaughter in the background. I just love capturing all those wee precious, candid moments for them to look back on in the years to come. After lots of special parent and sister moments we hit the road for the stunning Titanic Hotel.
Once we arrived at the Titanic Hotel we were swept up in the most gorgeous ceremony. With two family members who are Pastors there wasn’t a moment that wasn’t uniquely personal to Rachel and Euan, and they were swept away by it all. It was truly beautiful to witness their faith and their bond. It’s moments like these that make me love being a Northern Ireland wedding photographer. Being able to capture those special moments is what makes this job so rewarding. And seeing a family come together to celebrate such a special occasion is always a beautiful thing.
