Ashbrooke House, Colebrook Estate

Izzy and Archie’s beautiful day took place at the new wedding venue https://www.ashbrookehouse.com/ on the Colebrook Estate. It was absolutely amazing from start to finish, and was just a wedding photographers dream. I loved everything from the vintage feel to the strong focus on family, every moment was filled with style, love and laughter.

Bridal Party Preparations

As the Bridal party got ready in the stunning bedrooms of Ashbrooke house, the atmosphere was relaxed and full of craic. The girls chatted, drank tea and played games as a way to stay chilled out. Although, there was definitely some competitiveness over thon game of wordle. Meanwhile, the boys were nearby, surrounded by a multitude of family members, two dogs and even a newly rescued bird. The busy-ness all adding to the warm feel and set the tone for the day ahead.

Ceremony

Izzy and Archie’s ceremony was a beautiful celebration of love, and it was made even more special by the fact that the minister was Archie’s cousin. After exchanging vows, Izzy and Archie took some time alone (with me…. I’m always there ;)) to capture stunning photographs around the estate. From lush green fields to beautiful old bridges, formal gardens and woodland settings, each spot was just stunning. The perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs!

Reception and Dancing

Back at Ashbrooke House the courtyard was set for drinks, speeches and cake cutting. The speeches were priceless, with stories and anecdotes that brought tears of joy and laughter. My personal favourites were the best man’s tales of Archies adorable letters home from boarding school.

The evening reception was held in a marquee to the side of the house and it just blew everyone away. The decor was all created by the family, from the beautiful trees in milk urns, to the amazing handcrafted pottery, artwork, and decorations. All of the little details added such a personal touch to the event and created a magical ambiance that set the stage for a night of celebration.

The Duck Street Jam Band had the dance floor packed from start to finish, adding an extra layer of fun and excitement to an already perfect day. Izzy and Archie’s wedding was a true reflection of their love and personalities, and I feel incredibly grateful to have been a part of it.
